Regenerative Viticulture
Regenerative Viticulture for Biodiversity Improvement and Vineyard Management.

"Project funded through Operation 16.01.01 Cooperation for Innovation of the Rural Development Program of Catalonia 2014-2022."
The main objective of the project is to demonstrate and validate agronomic practices that contribute to regenerating the health and vitality of agricultural soils for a more sustainable vineyard agriculture, under the concept of regenerative viticulture, improving the overall biodiversity of crops and particularly of soils.
The specific objectives of this project are:
-
Improve the management of fertilizers and pesticides, gradually reducing the inputs used in the vineyard.
-
Improve rainwater management and increase its utilization capacity.
-
Reduce soil erosion to minimum or non-existent values and improve their management and handling.
-
Restore, preserve, and enhance biodiversity (including microbial biodiversity) within the viticultural ecosystem to better integrate it into the surrounding ecosystems and protect the landscape value of the territory.
